Word 2003 Keyboard oops.

HI, I'm new to this site so I hope I'm doing this right.

I just got a new computer with Office 2003. When I go to type question marks(?) or quotes(") or slashes(\) etc. in WORD, i get weird looking letters or symblos.
Like if I type a '?' I get an E with a line above it. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I tried Office Help, but I'm not even sure what I'm trying to search for.

it sounds like you have your keyboard set to spanish. Is there a Ctrl lock or something that you might have engaged?
