    Happy New Year All !

Just had new hard drive and so reinstall XP Home. Being in the UK we are used to metric so I want to change from inches to cm. I have gone to regional settings and everything is set for the UK and in the drop down box says metric yet word persists with imperial. Any ideas ?

    Hi

What version of MS Word is this?

In the Word Options menus is the option to change the measurement units

    Office 2003 http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/HP051896431033.aspx

Office 2007 http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA103514151033.aspx#3 also in Word goto the Options menu and then Advanced and scroll to the bottom nearly and their is another measurement option under the display title.

    Or this http://www.gmayor.com/Character_Units.htm

Re-install Office as you have now checked the Language options and see if that clears it up.

I am now having the bruising on my head seen to from hitting so many times. I'd convinced myself it was 2007 not 2003 so the tools options route worked fine thanks
