I'm planning on adding an additional SATA drive 160GB, and a Raptor 74GB 10,000RPM drive in addition to the existing 160GB drive I already have. Also I want to add in another CD-Writer in addition to the Sony DRU810A I already have.

Will my 480W Antec Truepower 2 be able to power all this without a problem (my full system specs in the sig)? The PSU has 4 SATA Drive power connectors as well as spare molex connectors so Im guessing it should, but i just wanted to check before I run out and buy it.

Also my UPS is rated 600VA and currently provides 10 minutes of power on battery mode - will adding the new components significantly lower this time?

risk_reversal, thanks for the link - very useful though im getting a difference of around 80 watts beween the two, both are still well within the PSU rating.

any idea on my question regarding the UPS?
