Would you recommend this COMPAQ laptop?

Hi!
I need your advice about Compaq Presario V6450 laptop.
How would describe it against Toshiba, HP, Dell, and Acer? It's Compaq and
not HP Compaq, I know HP had previously bought the Compaq company so
how would they still produce products that have only "Compaq" as a trade mark?

It's $920 in my region, so do you have better suggestions for this amount of money?

Define region, so I have an idea of value vs. USD.

 

Here's a Presario V6420US for about $300 less than that V6450. How much difference is there between them?

 

My region is Middle East (UAE - United Arab Emirates)

 

It is $629.99, so I would definitely go for the V6450 in light of the differences.
