My daughter has an older dell inspiron 5100 with a linksys wireless g 2.4 ghz, 802.11g notebook adapter. It works fine at home where we use WPA security but at another place where she needs to use her laptop they use WPA2 security. The card does not support WPA2 does anyone know what I can do beyond buying a new wireless card?

    thanks

Have you checked for the latest drivers for the adapter?
May have an update but if not, then you need a newer card.
