wrong keboard ouput.

HI every one. I'm working on a Gateway M-series laptop.
When I hit any of the following keys I get the following output :
1 or 2 gives me 12
Q or W gives me QW
A or S gives me AS
Z or X gives me ZX

All the other keys seam to work fine.
The following is what I have done so far.
Reinstalled the keyboard drivers.
Replaced the keyboard.
USB keyboard works fine.
On screen keyboard works fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

Hi my friend , maybe your keyboard is faulty , replacing the keyboard is necessary i think , on the bottom of the laptop there is a product number of your laptop

Thanks for your input but the keyboard has been replaced already.
Both keyboards have the same problem.

 

First troubleshooting step for a laptop keyboard: Attach an external keyboard and see how it works.
Since those keys are in line with each other, it points to a problem with a circuit on the keyboard or perhaps a circuit under those keys.

 

I've already did this, please see the following steps that have been done in my 1st posting.
