    I have a computer at my work that i just got a couple of days ago that has a lot of problems with viruses and spyware. I have run all virus removal tools we have as well as talked about in the beginners sticky. Most of the problems are gone however there are still two apparent ones that wont seem to go away. www.ads234.com always wants to redirect pages that i am trying to view and i dont know if this is related or not but 9 out of 10 times when i hit the back button in internet explorer it gives an error that iexplore.exe has generated errors and is being closed by windows. Machine is a Dell Dimension running 2000 with last service pack and IE 6.

    What do you mean by "beginners sticky"? Do you mean READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal ? If you have run everything in this READ ME then follow the guidelines in the NO HIJACK THIS LOG FILES BEFORE READING THIS: HJT Tutorial & LOG File Posting thread and post a HijackThis log as a .txt file attachment. Make sure you have HJT version 1.98.2 and install it to its own directory. Do not run it from the ZIP file and do not put it on your desktop. Also shutdown all applications especially browsers before running the scan with HJT.
