Soon i'm going to be buying a new p.c , it comes with a 3800+ but for £15 more I can get a x2 3800+. The machine will be used for gaming and msn and watching videos etc. Which one should i go for?
    I heard the single 3800+ is 2.4ghz
    and the x2 3800+ is 2x 2.0ghz ( 2x3200+).
    What should I go for?
I'm not going to be playing the best games out , just games like warcraft.

Dual core isn't for games, yet. the X2 3800+ is actually two 3200+ cores.

What one would you get then if you was in my situation, I like to play games and go on msn and play music at the same time but I think I could do this with the single core 3800+ , but I heard it would be best to get the x2 3800+ for 'future proof'.

Go with whats cheaper. You won't notice an appreciable difference in what you do. I do, but I hardcore multitask at times.
