XBOX Network Plee for HELP

ok, i had my xbox modded by system-mods.com, when i got it back i tried to network it but i couldnt.I bought a linksys BEFSR41 router and hooked it up. In the evolution x dash i went into system utilities, then settings

i see this:

type: static
IP: 192.168.03
Line Status: 100/Full Duplex
....
IP 192.168.0.3
Subnetmask: 255.255.255.0
DefualtGateway: 192.168.0.1


now this stuff is always like this no matter what.when i goto my ftp and type in the ip,port,pass,and login, its like its not even connected.i have passive mode turned off and everything and it just isnt connecting (im using flashFXP).

someone please help, i've waited forever it seems for this , thanks in advance

chances are that your xbox is on the wrong IP octect. In my experience linksys uses 192.168.1.xxx as the IP range. Try changing your xbox's IP address. I'm not sure how to do it, I don't have a modded xbox, but I would bet that this is the cause of your problem.

also, here's my suggested numbers

IP Address:192.168.1.10
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.1.1

That should work with your Linksys.

 

Verify also that whatever the xbox is plugged into can do 100Mbps, and full duplex. set it to auto/auto if you can.
