xp 64bit edition

is it a must to install all the 64bit drivers.some hardware still haven't come out with 64bit driver.if the driver is 32bit.will the hardware still works.btw the 32bit softwares able to run on xp 64bit edition?please comments.thx.

 

you can run your hardware with the 32bit or 64bit drivers, but I think 64bit drivers would work better (ie faster).

btw,why SP2 cannot be installed on xp 64 bit?

 

Because it wasn't written/coded for it. Much the same as you can't install XPSP2 on Win2000, Win98, or Win95.
