XP grief

    Help pleasee over the past 2 months my screen fades to black and I have to keep swithing the monitor of and wait and then switch on , however lately it has been happening on start up and can tack ten minutes to get a screen up . I have an active fire wall, virus scanner email and antispyware programs . I'm stumped Im at meltdown , plus my out look express has stopped seending emails out , Help :confused:
