XP home File share...ACCESS DENIED

Hello,

I have three XP home computers on a network (dsk1, dsk2, lp3). All three can share a printer, and the internet connection through the router, but only 2 out of the three can share files.

All of them can see shared files on each other.

But the files shared on dsk1 cannot be accessed. They appear on the other two (dsk2 and lp3) but when the user tries to access them by clicking on them, the following message appears

\\Desktop\Shared files is not accessible You might not have permission to use this network resource Contact your administrator.

Access denied

I have tried the following...

turned on guest account,

disabled all firewalls,

Shared the C drive with ability to change files, and no private

still am dealing with the same issue...

any help is appreciated,

Try unsharing the folder restart the computer and re share it.

Let me know what happens.

OK,

The turn off/on seemed to work. I can share-thanks for the help. However I am running into another problem. The printer wont share. I have the driver installed on all machines, but when I try to print through the network, The print job shows up on the machine with the printer attached(in it's spooler), but it never prints. It also never shows an error. It just sits in the spooler and never prints.

Any Suggestions??
