XP Home Lost Product Key

    My daughter's PC has severe problems and we decided to start again by re-installing everything from scratch but when I asked for all original CDs etc she gave me the original Win XP Home Genuine CD but then told me she had thrown away the box which of course contained the Product Key,

    The system still works (just about) - Can I recover the Product Key from the Registry or some other work-arround??

    Hi Guys - Looks as though the replies to the very next Post (2 minutes later than mine) has also answered our problem as well . Will try the suggestions.
