xp missing help pages

ok pc I am working on for someone has no help pages in xp. Gets the following keep getting DNS Errors when I go to Help menu option and select say Contents and Index in any program that uses Internet Explorer to display the HTML pages. Just been on the Microsoft Knowledge base for about an hour but with no luck.

Thing is I have MSDN Library installed for C, VB and Java but can see those either.

Bit of a daft one this as the left hand contents list or index list comes up fine its just the right hand html plane that does not display.


have flushed out the dns cache. Run anti-spy etc.

Wondered if a system restore would help but dont know when the last help files were available.

Any ideas guys?
