Hi. I am having a problem with changing certain user account settings. Primarily, the fact that when anyone installs anything, it shows up for all accounts. Is there an easy way to shut this off? I have looked in the normal easy spots, user account settings. I would appreciate any feedback, posiyive or negative, please. Thanks.

Im not really sure, although when you install a program it asks you to install for all users or just me. Selecting this properly on install would help. Maybe someone knows of a way to change it, but since each program is seperate, I can only assume its decided at install.

Yeah you just need to make sure that the Shortcut to the program is in your own start menu, rather than the "All users" start menu. Which can (generaly) be found in :
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu

Unless there is an option you cant stop it from putting its shortcuts there on install, I'm afraid.
