I have a PC that is getting an ZP stop code 7B (second node is 0x0C0000034). I do not get the indication that it is an inaccessible boot device.

This happens at XP startup (safe and normal modes). It also happens when windows tries to start via the XP CD. So I cannot get to repair.

All suggestions i have found indicates that I can at least repair, which I cannot. Even tried a DOS application that boots via CD and it fails as well.

Is this a wipe and reload?

There are a few likely possibilities.

One is a memory error. This can be tested using MemTest86.

Another is a BIOS error, corruption. This can be cleared by following the instructions in your motherboard manual.

A third possibility is a USB error. Try unplugging all the USB devices or hubs plugged into the computer's USB port and boot it again.

Where you trying to install Roxio 9

Memory test completed fine - even swapped out to other modules.

    BIOS was cleared.

Nothing connected to the USB ports.

No - Not trying to install Roxio.

    Still getting the 7B.
