What is the best hard drive cleaner? I used almost every one I can find (,all the washers,eliminators,cyberscrub,eraser, and more) I used the cheapest free,small sized data recovery tool I can find and it found all my old files even FILES I THOUGHT WERE GONE WHEN I FORMATTED MY HARD DRIVE TWICE AND CHANGED FROM FAT32 TO NTFS) So if you know any good file cleaners that actually work or just have an opinion please reply

And yep,I have tried gutman and DOD deletion methods yet the find deleted app within system mechanic still finds them.

Seems the only way to be sure no data can be recovered is to throw the drive into a blast furnace.

 

I donna know what utility is the best I only can say what tool I use. IMHO Privacy Expert is quite good as drive cleanser. The only way to choose and compare is to try several solutions. At least Acronis appears to have 30-day money back guarantee.
