YouTube/Python Interperter, player?

Hey,

I grabbed Python Interpreter and (oh god brain freeze) whatever the other part is, lol... so I can get YouTube videos off of the net.

Anyone know of a codec for either WinAmp (my preference) or Windows Media Player that will allow me to play those snagged files?
Or better yet a freeware conversion program? to wmv or mpeg?
I had one player for the YouTube files, but I hated it (really low grade looking, awkward controls) and blew it away.

Second part, same files, lol... anyone know of a freeware program to strip out the video and keep just the audio?
