zone alarm + outlook express

using outlook express
IE
mozilla firefox
avg
ad aware
spybot
ccleaner
cwshredder

since using zone alarm
avg, ad aware and spybot come up empty
which is good news, quite amazing actually

but i need to turn off zone alarm to access outlook express
to send or receive any emails
this only happened after the last upgrade of zone alarm
all was well before the upgrade

i tried searching many other forums, without any solutions, even zone labs
so others may also be experiencing this inconvenience

any help is appreciated
