Hi all,i have been using Zone Labs firewall for the past year or so.The last three days or so,or since i had Trojans from last weekend. I keep getting pop ups from Zone telling me that IP`s numbers with Tcp ports numbers and flags are pinging my computor?
So far theres A list of which ive noted. Even writing this i have had three!
Example the last one was......Your port was being attempted access from IP.61.126.249.1 TCP port 2468 fllags.s:
Theres been loads of these, what are they and should i be concerned because i never experienced this before?
    Anyone know? Cheers Wild.

It means that's IP (Computers on the internet are identified by IPs') has tried to access that port on your computer (Flag S is SYN so it was trying to access)

Update, well i have scanned using Trojan scanner and used above suggested progs. But nothing came up. I am still getting regular pop up from Zone telling me that these ips are attempting to get access to my comp.
    Pinging is mentioned? Whats this?
These ip numbers are all different, and they come with flag port numbers.
i.e. tcp port 901 from 67.56.101.85 is one.
Could it be something left on my comp, or is it hacking?
Some items in my control panel no longer function. Printer wont go, the comp. wont shut down as it should, takes ages as i have to end task? then wait 20 secs.
Off for another lie down! Cheers Wild.

I would recommend installing and running SpyBot Search and Destroy available here:

    http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2471

Make sure you update before running. Then cleanup what it finds. It may also be worth double checking using Ad-aware available here:

Also make sure you update it before running.

Then run a full virusscan. If you don't have one try AntiVir Personal Edition:

See if these what all these find and cleanup. If you still have problems, try running HiJack This and post its log. Get HiJack This here:

I don't think so! That's why I suggested it below after performing some other steps first.

Yes, that's true but they got his PC's address from somewhere. So there could be some items on his PC left over from some software or cookies...whatever. Its worth checking to make sure it is clean. If it is clean then your right! The firewall is doing its job and the notification feature can be turned off if desired.
