believe it or not, this is the very forum i have ever used. i have been playing with pc's since 1994, and never once really thought about getting into a forum. i have been chat rooms, but most of the time, one is being twisted like they are in a tornando

Nah.. its a great place to be, we try our best to aim the replies to questions at the level of the user no matter what level they are novice to geek ( age means nothing as experience is what counts )... so jump right in ask any questions in the the forum section that most fits the topic and answer any you feel comfortable in replying too.

what threat or area should i go to for some honest and helpful info?

Hi pop a post in the software forum http://forums.majorgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=21 with as much info as possible on what happens if you get any error messages what are they.

What your Windows version is.

Did you install anything new before this happened etc etc....

But pop it into the software forum I linked to above as many more will see it, the Welcome Center is not viewed by many of the talented people who could help you out.
