Can you locate a MAC address on the Internet?
Ping works with IP addresses. Is there a way to look for a MAC address in a similar way?
My computer was stolen today and I'm wondering if there's anyway to see if it's connected to the Internet.

Without having special software already installed, on, as that laptop is likely connected behind a router, which would thus cause you to only see the routers mac address, not the local machine. Sorry
