Default Running RootRepeal

Warning: Please only use as directed! Also if you have a 64 bit version of Windows do not attempt to run this because it will not work. See: How to check for 32 bit or 64 bit Windows

Download the RootRepeal from the below link save it to your Desktop. See the download links under this icon

Scoll down until you see the Download heading. You can download it in either RAR or ZIP format. Use whatever is easiest for you.

NOTE: If you have problems downloading the file due to a message about bandwidth limits, notice that the webpage states the below:
(see below for more mirrors, in case the bandwidth limits have been exceeded).
Note: This site has recently been exceeding bandwidth, so if any of the above download links are unavailable, please use one of the following:
Just scroll down and try one of the other posted links.
  • Extract the RootRepeal.exe file from the RAR or ZIP and save the EXE file to your Desktop.
  • Disable your antivirus, antispyware, and firewalls before continuing or they may block RootRepeal from running properly.
  • Now run the RootRepeal.exe program by double clicking on it.
  • On the botton click the Files tab and then click the Scan button
  • A Select Drives form will open. Select all of your drives by checking the boxes and then click OK.
  • It will start scanning. Wait for it to finish. It can take awhile depending on how many drives, how many files, how many folders...etc. Be patient.
  • When it finishes, click Save Report and save it somewhere you can easily find it (like your Desktop) so that you can attach it to a message in the forum. Give it a useful name like RRlog.txt
  • Attach the log as requested to your next message..
