Default Your boot time?

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/S.../BootVis.shtml

I got mines down 12 seconds (from 32seconds boot to 20seconds) from disabling services + optimizing it with bootvis. Whats your current record?

Right now it's like 19-20seconds. Never been able to get it any lower than that. I believe that has to do with GoBack loading. :D

dm ... and i thought i was all slick removing the IE core:: ... i get about 17 seconds but that was before I disabled services ... but that was down from like 40-50 seconds with my last computer ... the loader screens marker thing(the three dot thing that moves across) makes three passes then goes onto the user account selection screen ... dunno if that means anything

Default Re: Your boot time?

How are you guys getting these good boot times? Ive tried disabling services and also running msconfig and disabling some of the startup programs. I was wondering if you guys could give me any more ideas to try.

specs:
- Amd 64 3500+
- MSI neo Platinum2
- BFG 6800GT
- 80 GB IDE Maxtor 7200rpm 2gb cache ::

Running Windows XP SP2

It takes about 12 loading bars on average. My brothers computer loads faster than mine with a 2200+ and the same hard drive. Any ideas? im downloading the Bootvis to try right now. Thanks
