Default Wow...50 Gmail Invites...

Hey,

I was checking my Gmail yesterday and realized that I suddenly have fifty Gmail invites, so if anyone wants an invite, give me a holler!

Well, imagine this. Since I signed up with my gmail account quite a while ago, I've had no spam that I didn't ask for.

So, people can live in a state of paranoia all they want. I've not seen any adverse effects of using gmail.

I honestly think that a lot of people bash google because they are jealous of its success.

Google has a good thing going for it, I see no reason to stop using it, especially considering their services work so well.

nobody has got to me thru my gmail

I'll admit that I listened to the hype in the beginning when gmail was about to come out, but after doing some research of my own and then actually using it, I'm more than happy with gmail

Cool Re: Wow...50 Gmail Invites...

I haven't had any problems with gmail, but I do miss the folders... I'm not so fond of that search thing, especially if I have many regular senders. So now I just use it for 1 on my friends, and I use my yahoo for all the others... Not the way it was intended!

Same goes for MS and other large corporations. People bash them for no reason.

There is a reason: purley jealousy. Usually founded on next to nothing. ::

Just a note to those I've sent invites to--
You might have to check your spam box, when I got mine, yahoo threw it in my spam box, don't know why

Anybody else want one free: scorcer(at)gmail(dot)com

Also for firefox users--
There is a "gmail notifier" exstension available

Is there anyone here using "Thunderbird", Mozilla's mail client? Do you like it?

Speaking of which, Gmail is now set up for POP , so you can set it up in your mail client

Is it obvious how much I like Mozilla & Google? ::

Yeah, that'd be me! I use Thunderbird for my email at work. It's great. You can train the junk mail file to automatically delete messages from certain people. Plus, the storage is amazing!
