Angry Spybot Search & Destroy Not Fixing Problems

I ran a Spybot search oon my computer and I selected all the items that I wanted removed and hit "fix selected problems" and received the following error:

Unexpected error in fixing problems
(Date:"C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts" kann nicht erstellt werden. The process cannot access the file because it is used by another process)

The problems that were not fixed or removed are:

eZula HotText: Class ID
eZula HotText: Type Library

CoolWWWSearch.SmartSearch: Redirected host (Redirected host nothing done)

Download Accelerator Plus ads: Default ad category (Registry change, nothing done)
Download Accelerator Plus ads: Ad category (Registry key, nothing done)

I uninstalled Download Accelerator Plus a long time ago but this keeps coming up everytime I run Spybot but I can never remove it.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. ::

Default Re: Spybot Search & Destroy Not Fixing Problems

Sounds like you do not have the updates to Spybot! Check the links in the below thread for Spybot and it's DSO Patch file too. Then also make sure you update to the latest definitions that just came out.

- READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

If this does not help, let me know and we will figure out what the problem is.

If you are having malware problems, run all steps in the above thread and then:

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem:

- Download HijackThis 1.99.1

- Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

- Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file.

- Before running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

- Run HijackThis and save your log file.

- Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next message. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post).
