Ok, so I know the keychain access stores passwords on your computer. The thing is, it only gives me a short list of only my passwords I have used with aim. It doesn't show passwords for my email accounts such as gmail or hotmail. I was wondering if there is a way to make them 'show' or that i have to turn something on? Or why aren't they showing me the option to check my email account passwords? I really want to know if my hotmail password is stored somewhere on my computer...or anywhere I can find it?

I really don't use keychain access that much, but sometimes an email program or browser (or a special password keeper application if one is installed) will keep passwords seperately. That is, you need to access them through the program you are using. I think IE only lets you clear them, not view them, as part of AutoComplete. FF for Windows lets you view passwords in the security options. I have noticed with Windows that sometimes passwords won't be shown in the list, although they are remembered. I haven't figured that out yet, though.
