Default Dilemma w/ Cookies !!

Hey, I'm 20 people. I have been using computers since I was 8 years old, and I understand the core integrity of Mac's and Windows computers, but in this case I need a lot of help with my cookie dilemma.

I need you to read everything.
One week ago, I uninstalled Chrome, and did a clean install of my computer. I re-installed Chrome and updated my skin theme, and address my typical extensions, and enjoyed my browsing. I realized, however, (one week later) that my websites such as Facebook and Realjock.com had been logged out somehow. I did not quit Chrome, or clear any data from Chrome, or have any computer crashed. I did not log out of them, and the "remember me/keep me signed in" option was checked.

Furthermore, GMail and Google Accounts COMPLETLY sign out of itself when I quit and thus reopen Google Chrome. I cannot explain why. It doesn't make sense given the fact that I check the box next to "keep me signed in".

So, then I looked at the individual cookies within Chrome, and searched for "mail.google.com"--clicked on the cookie--AND on the details (the cookie description), it showed a note saying "When I quit my browser".

Thus, it is the cookie that won't stay me signed in. Why man?
I have checked the keep me signed in. I cleared my data from Chrome and tried again. I DO NOT have "clear my junk when I quit" checked.

I don't understand why because all of the current settings do not give a lead as to why I see the affect.

Please help.

Specs:
Mac OS X 10.6.5 (Intel)
Google Chrome 7.0.517.44
Extensions; Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on, and IBA Opt-out.
The "Help make Google Chrome better by automatically sending usage statistics and crash reports to Google" and "Clear cookies and other site data when I quit my browser" is unchecked. But, the "Block all third-party content without exemption" is checked.
