BlackBerry Applications Won't Download..

Hey I got Blackberry Curve 9300/3G for Christmas and I can't download some of the applications from the BB app world? Only the ones where the pictures show, I can download. When I click on the others, nothing happens. This is still the case after I made sure my BB internet services were working aswell.

Not a user of BB's but just a thought on your issue, until an BB user pops along, have you fully charged the phone then rebooted. If downloading apps directly from the Phone, have you tried this via the Desktop app (or vice versa)?

Have you checked if the phone has a software update? at times some need an update to the main software to give all functions for new items,

Some times when you plug the phone into your computer or even when you set the wi-fi, the phone asks for an update, but you can try doing that via the BB Desktop Manager.

Can you tell me what OS are you running on your Curve?

While you are on the Home Screen, press ALT + SHIFT + H

Then tell me what is the number you see under AppVersion

Additionally, try updating your Appworld by going to this link from your BlackBerry >>> http://blackberry.com/appworld/download

After you install the latest version and reboot your device, if the issue is still there.

you will want to Clear your Appworld Cache, to do this:

1) Open Appworld

2) Press and Hold the ALT key on your keyboard, then while holding ALT, press R, S, T

3) You will see a little loading icon then Appworld will exit. This means the cache has been cleared.

4) re-open appworld and try again
