DVD+R Blank cd Question

How do i copy files and videos and music too a DVD+R Blank CD And i want too put an ISO on the CD as well i all so kinda want too back up my windows XP 64bit too a CD

Use a burning software such as Nero or Ashampoo or drag and drop the files to the CD drive and let Windows copy it for you. More than likely you will find that an ISO is too big to fit on a CD AND that is not the way to back up your system. Use either the backup utility supplied with Windows or Google for the free Macrium Reflect version of their backup software

Well i have a DVD+RW burner and the CD's that i copied does not read only reading in the Nero 9.The CD's i have are DVD and have a space of 4.7GB DATA and 120 mins for video

Your post is somewhat confusing... you refer to copying to a CD where as now you refer to them as copying to a DVD. A CD and and a DVD are two different animals as you know and the term CD is a carry over from the time when only CDs were available.

What EXACTLY are you trying to do? If you are creating a backup of your system then use Windows backup or the freebie I mentioned. If the backup is too big to fit on a DVD the programme will ask for additional DVDs to be inserted.

If you are just copying music (mp3 for example) then a conventional CD will hold a lot of information.

Burning documents, pictures, music, and video files should be burned as data files; you can use any burning program including the programs listed above (Ashampoo Burning Studio Free is by far my favorite free burning program; just pay attention during install or you'll install the Ask toolbar). The programs listed above will also burn ISO files, but you must be sure that you chose the "Burn an image" option, or use the free program ImgBurn, which is (again) my favorite free program for burning image files (ISO, NRG,BIN, etc). For system back up, again, Macrium is good (I haven't used it personally but I've heard good things).

Generally speaking, if it's not an ISO/BIN/NRG file, it should be burned as std data. If you're trying to burn videos to play in a DVD player, that is a WHOLE different thread. The same applies to burning music files like MP3s- if you want them to play in a regular CD player, they'll need to be converted, but most (if not all) the programs listed here have that ability, and this is also built in to all Windows versions from XP up thru 7.
