Hey guys,
I'm looking to put my music collection onto a flashdrive to have it hooked up to my pioneer head unit it the car. I bought a Toshiba USB, but i'm having trouble transferring the files. It seems like after 23.3G the folders and files become "scrambled" - with file names a mixture of gibberish characters, and more irritatingly they're undeletable, with the only solution being a quick formatting. Any ideas what the issue is here? I've formatted it to NFST, but the car doesn't recognise, so it has to be FAT32 Last edited by Fitzchiv; 04-27-12 at 18:19.. |

Hello and welcome to MG.. if you are trying to transfer the whole 23.3 gig at once this could be why the problem occurs. Try transfering a bit at a time like 2 or 3 gig and see if that fixes it. The files I take are MP3's so your player ought to recognise them in your car. Fell free to post back with any developements. Good Luck.
