Tenda W150M

I'm a complete novice at networking and have been banging my head against the same brick wall for days now - PLZ HELP!!!!

I have a laptop running windows xp which is connected to the internet through a D-Link DSL-G624M Wireless 108G MIMO ADSl2/2+ Router.

I bought a Tenda W150M Portable Wireless AP/Router in order to connect to my sky box through an ethernet cable but I can't seem to get the thing to work?

In addition I have another computer downstairs which is running Linux via a Belkin wireless USB connection which works fine off the D-Link wireless connection, so I am sure the wirless is working.

Some VERY basic instructions on how to configure the Tenda would be very much appreciated as I can't face running up and down the stairs to face failure much more.

Are you setting this up on a computer & testing it before connecting it to the sky box? Does the PC your using get network access? Are you using the correct IPs on the devices? Most use 1.1, Tenda uses 2.1.
