A guy in California is suing BMW for an "injury" he allegedly suffered while riding his motorcycle.

Does he have a rock solid case or will a jury be hard on him for filing suit over a male fantasy come true? The joke potential here is almost endless.

Unless everyone or most people who ride the bike have the same problem it must be a freak medical condition only he has,if the bike inflamed that condition it was his fault for not stopping riding so his lawsuit is far from rigid.

It's common sense isn't it? If you buy a chair that causes you back pain 'which many do' stop sitting in it and sell it or don't buy it in the first place, he bought an after market seat and modified BMW's design anyway so he'll have hard time against BMW.

In the end I think the court should Stiff him, that or he'll need to test the seat more and raise a more solid case.

On a semi-serious note, the fact this (allegedly) happened with a Corbin seat surprises me. I've had bikes before with Corbin seats, and they're usually more comfortable than stock ones (and, no, I never had an issue with long-term stiff body parts after riding ).

If this were a common issue, every motor cop who rides a BMW would have a permanent ear-to-ear grin.

Good heavens, all those Casanova de Seingalt emulating "grandpas" out there could save a ton of money trading in their monthly payments for their Viagra prescriptions; for those BMW motorcycles (with Corbin-Pacific aftermarket seats, of course)! BTW, If wins his lawsuit in court - BMW should ask the judge who decides this case to force the motorcyclist to legally change his first name "Woody A. Bikeseat-Humper!"
