Default How do you block administrator spyware

A family member set up our new MacBook and now spies on everything we do using the admin remote software he set up on our Mac. We were sending an email w/attachment and he suddenly pops up with "Hey, nice picture you are sending!". We were SO pissed, he is really, really adept at Mac so we need a good way to wipe him off, if that is possible. All you Mac Savants please advise.. How can we get rid of his intrusions?
You rule, thanx for the help.

A Mac Simpleton

Not knowing what is being used (your info is a bit vague), your safest bet is a Clean Install of your Mac OS. Make certain you backup any data files and settings(email, etc) you do not want to lose to a removable drive or 2nd computer.

Put in CD/DVD with Mac OS Installer (should have come with your Mac) >> Open CD on Desktop >> choose install Mac OS >> click ok to restart >> answer ok to questions after restart UNTIL YOU GET TO HARD DRIVE INSTALL DESTINATION >> Click on your Hard Drive in the upper window then click on Options >> Choose lower box to perform a Clean Install...Reinitialize HD which will completely wipe out ALL of your data and install a fresh copy of the Mac OS. Just agree to all questions and answer questions as directed on the screen. Most of all, do not let your "Family Member" back on your Mac!

I am not computer savvy,

I have a PC. and my roommate who owns the house can view everything we do on the computer somehow since he is the administrator.
How can i block this from happening?
Thank you

Is this a shared computer? Also, are you on a Mac as you posted in the Mac forum?

Are we discussing about getting around parental controls?

Old thread and the second user with the question never came back.

If you have a question on this topic, please start your own new thread.
