Default ati radeon x1400 Drivers

Trying to find the lasted drivers for my laptop. No luck at AMD.

Hi my friend , what is your OS ? Follow this !!

Start - Run type this mmc devmgmt.msc - Ok - right click to yellow device - Properties - Details - scroll down the arrow finding Hardware ids - there is a code in the box , we need it ( select all - copy - paste ) the code here

If you are just wanting the most up-to-date drivers for your video look here on the AMD site:

http://www.amd.com/us/products/noteb...ges/x1400.aspx

It looks like the problem device ID's refer to a card reader, from what I have been able to find out. Check the Dell site for those drivers.

Actually that page lists no drivers AT ALL for the card.

This is the 1400 page on the ati site

and is utterly bereft of content... so sadly that's not a helpful link.
