Windows 7 Running Extremely Slow - Malware?

My Windows 7 computer runs extremely slow both in Safe Mode and in the standard environment.

Can someone have a look at my MGTools log and let me know if this is being caused by malware?

I've run full virus scans, scan disks, disabled all processes and startup items, nothing works.

You took a shortcut and did not run the whole Read and Run Me First?

Please explain what operations are slow! For example answer the below:

• Is boot up slow?
• Is shutdown slow?
• Is browsing/surfing slow?
• Is downloading slow?
• Is running any application?
• Is it also slow in safe boot mode?
• Also are any process showing in Task Manager to be using a lot of CPU time?
• Anything else slow?

Is boot up slow?
Yes

Is shutdown slow?
Yes, extremely.

Is browsing/surfing slow?
Yes, extremely.

Is downloading slow?
Stalls then goes for a bit, then stalls again

Is running any application?
Sometimes applications will load quickly, but will then stall for a while, run for a little while, and then stall again. Repeats. Mostly, applications take very long to load.

Is it also slow in safe boot mode?
Slightly faster in safe mode, but still slow.

Also are any process showing in Task Manager to be using a lot of CPU time?
Just the System Idle Process

Anything else slow?
Everything.

What is inside of this folder? C:\Windows\[SystemFolder]
One file: WindowsCodecs.dll

You can post about this in the software forum, it's non malware related.

Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
