Cool DVD ROm

I have a DVD burner on my computer, i really didnt do anything, When i open My Computer, I see my HDD and my USB drive, but not my CD player. When i go to the device manager. It gives me a message, "windows can not load the device driver for this hardware code 39". I right clicked and updated driver but nothing happened. Any suggestions.

Error 39 can be a driver problem but it can also indicate a registry problem.
You may have to remove the upper and lower filters.
