Default Macbook Air Factory restore

My daughter sold her Macbook Air on ebay (for a stupid amount of money) so she could upgrade since she has birthday money.

It has Lion OS installed on it.

I found this:

http://www.apple.com/osx/recovery/

and this (which states that Lion and Mountain Lion work the same???): http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718

Is this really this easy???

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Well, we are trying it tonight, so I hope so.

Cman...I know nothing about Macs. Can you do me a huge favor and look at that second link for me that is specifically about Lion and tell me if that looks like how it would be for the first link which is for Mountain Lion?

Pretty please?

For my reference, I also found this to get rid of all data:

"Restart the computer holding +R. Choose the option relating to Disk Utility and erase the Macintosh HD. Close Disk Utility and from the list of options, reinstall Lion."

Yup, and let me know if you have any problems, mine i had issues at first cause my home internet is pretty slow and it wasn't working, i went to work and used the internet there and it worked fine. As long as your internet isn't really slow you should have no troubles. For the record, i did a restore when i first got it just to test it out.

Thanks again, Cman. I haven't tried it yet as we haven't gotten payment for the laptop (thinking the guy doesn't like the cost of international shipping )
