Good News for Me

Alas, I finally finished my degree in May of this year and since moved from my old stomping grounds of Oswego NY to downstate NY. I was looking for a job for months, finally two weeks ago I got a call back. Went to an interview arranged by a staffing company last thursday, and ended up spending 4 hours there doing a total of three interviews. Later that night they called my staffer at home to offer me the job.

So, sensing the opportunity to try to get more money due to thier swift responce I told him I wanted more than the offer. Now I start next week, with a 13.5% increase in salary, and free parking. Free parking for most people probably isn't an issue, but for anyone working in or around NYC it is very valuable! So I'm finally amongst the ranks of the employed, and at a significantly higher salary than 99% of the entry level people in my field.
