Hey, there.
A wee problem. I'm getting back into Enemy Territory, and my favorite server, HESS, runs version 2.60. "No problem", I think to myself, and go to the main ET site to download version 2.60. Everything goes well until, while installing the very last file onto my computer, the process stops to give me this message: "C:/Progams/Wolfenstien-Enemy Territory/version.inf could not be opened" Hmmm. Now thats odd, but not surprising. I am, after all, trying to work with XP. Things aren't supposed to work. I understand this. Is there a way I can *make* it work? Any suggestions to getting 2.60 fully installed on my computer? Any help would be appreciated ![]() Here are my system specs, should that help any: ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 8/30/2005, 02:05:30 Machine name: YOUR-US67PI6LUV Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 1 (2600.xpsp1.020828-1920) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: HP Pavilion 05 System Model: P9853A-ABA 763N BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.53GHz, ~2.5GHz Memory: 512MB RAM Page File: 882MB used, 455MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 5.03.0001.0904 32bit Unicode My Nvidia drivers are currently updated to version 77.72_win2kxp |
