    Hi,

Whenever I open a folder which is on my desktop and then close it, all my icons on the desktop and system tray disapears. The PC then sort of freezexs for 5 - 10 seconds and then they all appear on the screen again.

This does it every time - any suggestions as to why this has started to do that and how to fix this?

    Thanks

It looks like you are having this trouble either because you have lack of memory or cpu has too much load.
    what is your system spec?
Here are some steps you can take in the mean time:
    First, clear your temp foler.
next, delete all your temporary internet files.
    next, increase your virtual memory.
    next, run virus check
next, run scan disk and do a defrag.
