Download Problem

    Everytime I try and download Spybot, when it gets to 99% a message comes up as follows:-
    "cannot copy file: cannot read from the source file or disk"
    Please someone help me, a newbie in computing.

    Have you tried downloading from another mirror or the main site?

    Try deleting your temporary internet files. Downloads get copied there before being written to their final location.

    Inside of IE:

    Tools >Internet Options >General tab >Delete Files under Temporary internet Files section.

    Clear my Temp files every evening.
    Have tried to download from Spybot also Major Geeks and several other sites, all the same.

    how much space do you have left on the disk and have you checked the drive for errors lately?
