For my PhD I need to present the results of a large number of configurations of a number of molecules visually. Is it possible to tabulate these files using one programming language or another (perhaps html) so that I could (relatively painlessly) import them into a word document preferably as a column of a table?

The file names of these images are sequential i.e mol 001.gif, mol002.gif, mol003.gif etc

I am running Mandriva Linux though I don't think that is important.

    Thanks for your help
