IE hijacked
I followed the steps given, but my pc won't run ccleaner. I keep getting an error.
I did manage to run MBR Check and I have the log. Can I post it here or does it have to be in PM? I ran Hijack this and found some odd stuff that I don't recognize such as win logon notify My IE browser is being redirected and I can't install a security update from microsoft. I get this error (This update can not be installed Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008 x86 (KB2742597) I think those are 2 separate problems. The Opera browser is not hijacked. I ran rogue killer, but I don't understand it. I also ran defogger I appreciate any help available. Thanks Kate
