windows update problem.

Every time I go to Windows update, it says I need to d/l this critical update...

Even if I d/l it and restart, I could go back to windows update and it says I still need it. Any ideas?

This is just a shot in the dark, but you could try skipping the windows update site and just download it here : http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;828026 .

 

This Media Player update is supposed to fix a couple of issues with Windows Update KB828026:

Not sure if it will fix yours, tho...

 

I did the direct d/l and it still isnt registering. wierd. ah well.
