    Hey,

I had some DIVX video files that I captured and wanted to burn to DVD. I can convert them to MPEG-2 Files with WinAVI video converter and they play back just fine. I used Sony DVD Architect 2 to author the DVD and it previews just fine. When I burn the DVD, however, I get problems with the audio getting out of sync. It's not noticible right away, but it gets REALLY bad towards the end. It is almost as if it gradually gets out of sync, which makes me think it's something with the video framerate or the bitrate of the audio. (The audio is ahead of the video). I double checked that the framerate is 29.97 fps and the audio is 48000kHz. Am I doing something wrong? I also had a friend who used Roxio to author some home movies that had the same problem, so I don't think it's DVD Architect... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Also, I would use something like the program "DIVX to DVD", but can you create your own menus with that or does it just spit out raw video? (I can't try it out cause the site is down.)

What I found is decompressing the audio first helps.
    How?
Google AVI2VCD.. its freeware & has a decompress exe with it.
After using that program you have filename_pcm.avi (or something like it)
    Try burning those.

    Hope that helps.

So does that create a seperate audio stream or a new video file with a decompressed audio stream?
