    Hi, ok here's the thing:

i have this second hard disk on a computer i haven't touched for like 5 months, i need to find some files i have on this drive, but when i click on it nothing shows up, not a single folder, i have the "show hidden files" option enabled, but still nothing shows up, and i know there are files there, cause when i look at the properties of the local disk, it's half full....so i dont know...

oh i have windows xp professional by the way...and the computer is not connected to a local network or anything, a little help?

    thanks guys.

    Just a test.

What drive is the second computer on?

As an example, I will call it the D: drive.

click, START, then RUN, then type in: CMD (press enter).

    cd d: (press enter)
    dir /ah /as /s (press enter)

    any files listed?

you know when i typed cd e: (that's my second hard drive) and press enter, it went to E: but came right back to C: my main drive.
