Nothing in control panel

Hi

I am having a few problems

1) When I open the control panel nothing is visible in it

2) The C drive is the same, unless I access it through Explorer

3) I can access MSN but can't get into my actual account from my home computer, all was ok a few days ago.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

PS I have Windows ME and can access control panel icons in safe mode.

When control panel opens it says at the botton 33 objects, but none of them display. Have run Spybot, etc.
