    Hi Haigen!

Are you using Nod and McAfee combined?

    Your AVG Antispyware didn't run.

1)You need to uninstall the below:

    - J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10

    2) Reboot after uninstalling the above.

    3) If you do not use Windows Messenger (not to be confused with MSN Messenger!!) I would like you to run Disable/Remove Windows Messenger

    4) Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it. This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    O2 - BHO: ohb - {5ED7D3DE-6DBE-4516-8712-436325722327} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7D9CB362-375B-4FB9-8024-E55079CC69D1}" - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {94A6E167-AE9F-4040-8E01-DE9C182EEADB} - (no file)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime
    O4 - Startup: 360Share On Startup.lnk = C:\Program Files\360Share\Gui\360Share.exe
    O8 - Extra context menu item: &Search - ?p=ZJfox000
    O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {B06300D0-CCDE-11d2-92D3-0000F87A4A55} - (no file)
    O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {BF80219A-CCDD-11d2-92D3-0000F87A4A55} - (no file)

Remember to close all open browsers before clicking FIX. After you click on fix, just exist HijackThis.

    5) Please run C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat and attach the fresh MGlogs.zip it generates along with the Avenger log.

Let me know how things are running now?

You did not have McAfee installed so don't worry about it.

What Abri meant was that you did not run it and attach the log from it. What you attached in your first message was not a log from AVG Antispyware. Did you fix all problems that ABG Antispyware found? Make sure that you did not Ignore them which is often a default.

Based on your new log, it appears that you did not do any of the steps that Abri asked you to do? You must make sure you follow ALL steps and do them in the order given. I'm going to give you new instructions. Please make sure you do all of them and do them in the order written.

Run this Disable/Remove Windows Messenger to remove Windows Messenger. Do not confuse Windows Messenger with MSN Messenger because they are not the same. Windows Messenger is a frequent cause of popups.

    Uninstall the below software:
    Ask Toolbar
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
    Norton Security Scan

The AskPBar items that I ask you to fix below may not show in the HijackThis log anymore if the above uninstall works properly. Just ignore lines that do no appear and continue.

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it. This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Now download The Avenger by Swandog46, and save it to your Desktop.
    • Extract avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop
    • Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    • Check the 'Input script manually' box.
    • Click on the magnifying glass icon.
    • Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it in the box that opens:
    • Now click the 'Done' button.
    • Click on the traffic light icon and OK the prompt.
    • You will be prompted to restart, OK the prompt and your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
    • A log file from Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt
After reboot look for all of the above files we had Avenger attempt to delete. If you still see them, delete them yourself.

    Now run Ccleaner!

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this and also attach the log from Avenger.

Make sure you tell me how things are working now!
