    I need help fellow geeks.

I am trying to disable the windows keys on my keyboard.

    I have succeeded, sorta.

I have disabled the left key, but not the right.

Here is what I have tried:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
    "Scancode Map"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,03,00,00,00,00,00,5b,e0,00,00,00,00

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

value NoWinkeys, set it to 1.

Now while I have very GIMPED Windows Keys, the right one still works.

This is reproducible across 4 machines so, Im gonna guess and say all machines.

I have a specific request though. I want this as a tweak, I do not want a third party app to accomplish this.

    Thanks!

    Try this instead:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
    "Scancode Map"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,03,00,00,00,00,00,5b,e0,00,00,5c,e0,00,00,00,00
